A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Backend Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and supporting our backend services
  • Working with Elasticsearch indexing and search
  • Working with PostgreSQL database(s) with custom extensions

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience with a either Ruby, Python, or a similar scripting language
  • Experienced software developer, with some experience building backend services
  • Experience with Git and GitHub
  • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively
  • Must have a solid understanding of modern backend applications
  • Experience with Linux or a BSD
