A customized fan interaction provider has an open position for a Remote Senior Backend Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensuring standards for engineering excellence, scalability, reliability, and reusability
- Mentoring junior engineers
- Debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 5+ years experience building scalable, resilient backend systems
- Proficiency in concepts related to data modeling, data storage (SQL, NoSQL), data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis), and caching (Redis)
- Experience working on, and deploying, large scale systems
- Enjoy, and have experience building, efficient, typesafe and documented APIs
- Possess excellent practical judgement
