Remote Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A software company is in need of a Remote Senior Backend Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Defining and developing generalized APIs, capabilities, and services
• Developing data infrastructure to support ingesting and processing
• Creating tools to support ML engineers

Qualifications Include:

• Eligibility for a TS/SCI Security clearance
• Familiar with backend services and/or data pipelines
• Have experience in big data handling, transfer, and organization
• Familiar with batch processing tools like Apache Spark, Dask, or Kubernetes
• Experienced using job scheduling and orchestration tools
• Familiar with CI/CD software, provisioning infrastructure as code
