Job Summary
An online publisher of articles about the landscaping industry is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Backend Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Helping us scale up our backend to millions of users
- Providing insight into how we can optimize our backend infrastructure as we continue to expand
- Shaping our backend infrastructure and supporting the rest of the engineering team as they work on new features
Position Requirements Include:
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience using AWS infrastructure (Terraform a plus)
- Experience scaling backends from 10k+ users to millions of users
- Experience using Postgres and optimizing database load
- Experience writing Javascript backend functions (serverless a plus)
