Job Summary
A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Backend Engineer in New York City.
Must be able to:
- Assist in data architecture efforts, from prototype to test to build
- Enable scalability and observability for batch and realtime data streams
- Drive adoption of best practices through mentorship and by example
Position Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of experience with big data systems
- Understanding of different serialization and storage formats
- Working knowledge of relational databases
- Experience with streaming data technologies and patterns
- Experience with orchestration frameworks like Airflow, Oozie
- Expertise in a general purpose programming language
