Job Summary

A social networking website is filling a position for a Remote Senior Backend Foundation Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Work with a small team of highly experienced engineers on creating new, highly scalable services
  • Help scale existing codebase and storage for a global top 200 website
  • Contribute to technology, architecture, work ow, and design decisions

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience with large data sets
  • Experienced engineer who can adapt to ever changing needs
  • Excellent understanding of software design and architectural patterns
  • Multidisciplinary - familiar with many application stacks
  • PHP or Java experience
  • Experience with Kafka
