Job Summary
A privately-held financial technology company has an open position for a Remote Senior Backend Platform Engineering Software Development Engineer in Test.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Contributing to the team’s operational excellence
- Designing, developing, executing, and maintaining platform/API automation framework
- Monitoring the health of test build pipelines
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5 to 7+ years of SDET experience working on large production codebases in production environments
- 5+ years of experience focused on development and implementation of platform services/API automation
- Solid understating of OOPS concepts and service-oriented architecture
- Strong experience in API testing using tools like POSTMAN, SOAP UI etc
- BS degree in computer science -or- equivalent professional experience
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
