Job Summary
A family-owned winery has an open position for a Remote Senior Backend Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Design, implement and test REST APIs and data processing pipelines for mobile, web and 3rd party integrations
- Design and implement highly scalable data-intensive processing environments to support a website or application
- Guide the solution architecture for the platform development team
Position Requirements Include:
- Experience working with AWS or other public Cloud platforms
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years of IT experience to include back end software development or building scalable back end services
- Exposure to functional (python) and object-oriented (java, scala, clojure) programming languages
- Familiar with db design patterns
- Experience building robust backend services and REST APIs
