Job Summary

A global pet food company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Backend Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Building and maintaining company’s application and frameworks that drive our customer’s experience
  • Contributing clean testable code and writing unit and integration tests
  • Responding to bugs and incidents as they arise and supporting internal libraries and frameworks

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 5+ years of professional experience working as a Software Engineer doing hands on development
  • Recent experience working as a Full Stack Software Engineer or Software Engineer with backend focused work
  • Demonstrated understanding of APIs
  • Proficient experience working with JavaScript (ES6+), React/Redux and Node.JS
  • Ability to write software the right way incorporating peer reviews, allocating ample time to refactor code, and writing tests
  • Demonstrated excitement to write good code and eagerness to provide mentorship to their teammates
