Remote Senior Backend Software Engineer
Job Summary
A financial technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Backend Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building out real-time analytics and reporting dashboards
- Working with our front-end team to fine-tune our REST APIs
- Working with our DevOps team to ensure a scalable, secure, redundant, distributed production environment system
Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years of development experience
- Experience in building large-scale distributed web applications
- Excellent object-oriented development skills
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google App Engine, etc.)
- Deep understanding of big O notation and algorithm complexity analysis
- B.S./ M.S./Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent STEM degree
