Job Summary

An information technology and marketing services company is seeking a Remote Senior Backend Software Engineer in New York City.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and building our core APIs and infrastructure
  • Helping set the direction of our technical decisions
  • Leading engineering squads as they develop and refine our systems

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 6+ years of industry experience building scalable, secure and resilient API endpoints
  • Hands on experience with and expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails, or other backend languages
  • Experience with implementing and supporting headless Web CMSs
  • Strong experience with RDBMs as well as NoSQL technologies
  • Experience with CI/CD techniques and tools, including CircleCI, GitHub Actions
  • Familiarity with key components of the AWS suite of tools and containerization tools and architecture
