Job Summary

A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Backend Software Engineer in San Francisco.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing and implementing new backend features within an existing codebase
  • Building reusable and extensible code, following test-driven development practices
  • Designing and implementing new backend services from scratch

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Production experience with Node.js, and GraphQL or REST APIs
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
  • 4+ years of professional, backend software development experience
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Experience designing complex relational and NoSQL database schemas from scratch
  • Experience building synchronous and asynchronous workload systems
