Job Summary
A tool manufacturer needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Big Data Analytics Architect in Towson.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Architecting and implementing automated data pipelines to clean and process production data
- Contributing to the back-end architecture design and implementation of a data intensive application
- Engineering database and data store schemas to optimally serve analytics queries
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years’ experience with a statistical analysis in Python or R
- At least 5 years’ experience with a language for building applications: node, Go
- At least 3 years' experience with NoSQL databases (CouchDB, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
- At least 3 years' experience with SQL in major relational database systems (Postgres, MySQL)
- At least 2 years of experience with containerization tools and services
- At least 2 years of experience with event-driven systems, messaging (NATS, Kafka)
