A protection software company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Big Data Engineering Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Setting expectations on delivery both upstream and downstream of your team in an agile environment
- Hiring, building and developing the best Big Data engineers in the world
- Providing both strategic and tactical oversight to build features and functionalities
Position Requirements Include:
- A company that enjoys having fun; holiday and summer parties, sporting events and lots of other great stuff
- 3+ years of engineering management experience
- 10+ years of professional experience with at least 5+ years hands-on software development experience
- 4+ years or working experience in Big Data & Cloud technologies
- BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Hive, Presto, Redshift, Snowflake, Redis and similar technologies
