Job Summary
An Information Services company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Bioinformatician in Rockville.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Use computational tools to gather and analyze data in fields
- Provide expertise across a wide variety of informatics and data science areas
- Provide expertise in the integration of a variety of heterogeneous biomedical information systems
Qualifications for this position include:
- Contractors may be required to travel 5-10% in support of this contract
- 8 years of progressively responsible experience in the individual’s field of study
- Familiar with standard tools and data formats
- Proficient in MS Office specifically, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior, successful experience working in a remote environment
