Job Summary

A biotechnology company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Bioinformatics Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Working will directly improve the quality of our product and positively impact each tested patient
• Applying your knowledge of computer science, statistics, and NGS to analyze, improve, and develop techniques
• Helping ensure our analytics are of the highest caliber

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Understand the detailed statistical and algorithmic workings of modern variant calling packages
• Are comfortable reading source code for large open source projects with preference for Python knowledge
• Have deep knowledge and experience analyzing NGS data, either from industry experience or academia
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and data presentation skills
