Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Senior Bioinformatics Pipeline Engineer in Alameda.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Be responsible for macro scale architecture of software technology
- Provide guidance and oversight to multiple development teams
- Participate in the full software development life cycle
Qualifications for this position include:
- Travel to meetings about once per month
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Bioinformatics or comparable technical degree
- 7 or more years of professional experience in software development
- Proficient in multiple modern programming languages
- Experience with Software Development Best Practices
- Experience with developing containerized pipelines for genomic data analysis
