Job Summary
A health company is seeking a Remote Senior Bioinformatics Software Engineer in Redwood City.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working with users and product managers to gather and refine requirements
- Creating and translating UI / UX wireframes, plus maintaining the applications RESTful web service / APIs in Python
- Providing written documentation and specifications of software products and services
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 5+ years experience developing software in production environment
- Strong understanding of Python, plus working knowledge of Django and DRF
- Working knowledge of managing and deploying Docker (the group is moving to Kubernetes, all experience with transitioning welcome)
