Remote Senior Biotech Tissue and Data Acquisition Specialist

Job Summary

A biotech research company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Biotech Tissue and Data Acquisition Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Developing and maintaining external relationships
• Working with our data providers to ensure that tissue is acquired in the correct mass, quantities, and form
• Coordinating with our computational biology team to organize, review, and QC incoming omics data

Required Skills:

• Ph.D. in biology or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience studying central or peripheral disease biology
• Experience linking therapeutic targets
• Familiarity with one or more -omics data types or technologies
• Exceptional written, verbal, communication, and organizational skills
