Remote Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

Job Summary

A technology company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Business Intelligence Engineer.

Must be able to:

• Own the design, development, and support of the data models and visualization dashboard
• Recommend changes to existing business intelligence processes or policies to improve efficiency
• Proactively identify trends in market trends and business performance, surfacing findings on a regular basis

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• BS, MS or Ph.D. in quantitative fields (e.g., Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, Operations Research)
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, building and architecting data solutions roles
• Experience working in GCP/AWS/Azure cloud platform and knowledge of cloud utilities/tools
• Familiarity with sophisticated data architecture and tools (e.g. data warehouses, data pipelines)
• 5+ yrs of hands-on experience writing and optimizing advanced SQL queries, with large-scale, complex datasets
• Skills to manage complex BI projects and teams, and work effectively across internal functional areas in ambiguous situations
