Job Summary
A game development studio company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Character Concept Artist.
Must be able to:
- Forsee concepts from sketches all the way to a rendered color final
- Work with the Art Director and Art Department Leads to research, collect, and organize reference material
- Collaborate with internal and external 3D artists via paint overs, studies, and group critiques
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in game or film development focusing on conceptual artwork
- A strong understanding of human and creature anatomy
- A strong foundation in traditional art theory
- Experience with Photoshop and the processes of photobashing, painting, and sketching
- Outstanding portfolio demonstrating the ability to create amazing photo realistic characters and costume designs
- An understanding of, and ability to analyze lighting and material properties and their interactions
