Job Summary
A healthcare improvement company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Claims Consultant.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Establish and regularly maintain claims files as primary “owner” of individual claims
- Review and manage claims and develop thorough understanding of critical issues
- Demonstrate proactive intellectual curiosity regarding claim trajectory to provide solution-oriented ideas on strategy
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10 or more years’ experience managing medical liability claims for insurer or hospital; experience both litigating cases and/or managing outside counsel during litigation
- Claims resolution skills and knowledge of insurance and medical liability claims
- Strong communication, litigation, adjudication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to achieve business goals and objectives
- All other requirements necessary for this position
