Job Summary
A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Clinical Pharmacist.
Must be able to:
- Research and synthesize detailed clinical data related to utilization management
- Serve as a clinical resource on utilization management to other departments
- Appeal cases primarily for Medicaid business
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years' experience as a clinical pharmacist, or equivalent education and experience
- Active unrestricted state license to practice pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh)
- Must be located in a state or territory of the United States when conducting utilization review
- Ability to serve as clinical support on regulatory or accreditation audits
- Ability review and approve or deny coverage for pharmaceuticals
- Ability to coordinate with company or health plan medical directors as needed
