Job Summary
A healthcare provider is filling a position for a Remote Senior Clinical Policy Medical Director in Long Beach.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Interpreting managed care regulations
- Developing, communicating and executing the implementation policies and procedures
- Directing the team responsible for creation and maintenance of Prior Authorization lists
Position Requirements Include:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
- 7+ years' experience as a Medical Director in managed care
- 10+ years' experience in Utilization Management
- 5+ years' leadership experience, preferably in a managed care environment
- Experience demonstrating strong management and communication skills, consensus building and collaborative ability
