A technology company that specializes in cybersecurity has a current position open for a Remote Senior Cloud Data Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Helping to define, build, and maintain the company's next generation streaming query platform
- Working with industry-leading technologies like RocksDB, Apache Kafka, Apache Helix
- Troubleshooting critical production issues
Skills and Requirements Include:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with event stream platforms (Kafka, Kinesis)
- Experience with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- C++ with strong debugging skills
- Operation experience in the tuning of clusters for optimal data processing
