Job Summary
An IT company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Cloud Database Administrator.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining an automation system
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automation for installation, configuration, and operation of SQL Server
- Interacting with other teams to troubleshoot, address shortcomings, and meet general operational needs
Position Requirements Include:
- Background in computer science including data structures, algorithms, heuristics
- Development skills
- Ability to develop with object-oriented, functional, and scripting languages, specifically PowerShell
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Self-starting and self-directed
- Able to work comfortably and contribute significantly in a team environment
