Job Summary

A technology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Cloud Database Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

Leveraging existing industry and internal tools to manage, debug, and scale Aurora MySQL and NoSQL databases
Performing query analysis, troubleshooting and performance tuning
Being a subject matter expert, working with software architects and developers

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience with cloud database systems
Deep knowledge of common NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DocumentDB)
Deep knowledge of common relational databases (MySQL, Postgres)
Experience working with Database Abstraction Layers and ORM
Strong experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
Strong troubleshooting and task management skills
