Job Summary

A wholesale company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Cloud Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Establishing standard and reusable cloud based application architectures
  • Building cross cloud resource visibility, oversight, and corporate policy automated enforcement solutions
  • Determining and establishing best practices and standards normalized across all cloud providers

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 7 to 12 years of IT/Cloud/Infrastructure experience with knowledge of one process/service
  • Experience in large scale governance and management across multiple public cloud providers
  • Experience with DevOps toolsets such as Puppet, Jekins, Git, Docker, JIRA
  • Strong understanding of cloud financial models
  • Ability to estimate usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms
