Remote Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company providing online IT courses has a current position open for a Remote Senior Cloud Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Develop a flexible infrastructure to promote Developer self-service
• Ensure redundancy and resilience of infrastructure and services
• Design, implement, maintain, secure, and scale core shared infrastructure

Qualifications Include:

• l experienced in key areas such as Cloud Ops, Infrastructure as Code, and Configuration Management
• Operational experience with platform systems such as Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and/or Kafka
• Strong systems administration skills, especially with Linux Operating Systems
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (PCI, SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001)
• Solid understanding of network security and performance
• Strong scripting proficiency in bash (shell), Python, Golang, and/or other languages
