Job Summary

A health insurance company has an open position for a Remote Senior Cloud Operations Engineer 1.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Supporting Azure and GCP Platform/Infrastructure
  • Supporting Cloud outages affecting production systems
  • Engaging issues related to Platform/Infrastructure

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience
  • 5 or more years of technical experience
  • Experience with administration of commercial web services, PaaS, SaaS, or IaaS
  • Experience with relational database: data administration and data support operations
  • Experience providing enterprise production operations support and 24/7 support
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and Immutable Infrastructure principles
