Job Summary

A cloud computing services company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Cloud Technical Account Manager.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Help crafting and executing strategies to drive our customers’ adoption and use of Company services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and many more
  • Effectively representing Company within a customer’s environment, and driving discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support and risk management
  • Providing advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keeping your customers’ environments operationally healthy

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Ability to travel 10% or more as needed
  • 6+ years of technical engineering experience
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: Compute / Storage / Networking / CDN / Databases / DevOps / Big Data and Analytics / Security / Applications Development in a distributed systems environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline; or 8 years of equivalent work experience
  • Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical lead
