Job Summary

A non-profit medical center has a current position open for a Remote Senior Coding Quality Auditor in Cleveland.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Assessing coding accuracy of inpatient and outpatient medical record documentation
• Conducting random and focused coding audits
• Documenting, preparing and presenting of audit results

Qualifications Include:

• May be required to travel to off-site hospitals
• 3+ years experience as a coding quality auditor in a health care environment
• AHIMA, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, AAPC, CIC, or CPC certification
• 7 years professional coding experience required
• Working knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, disease processes
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
