Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Coding Specialist with home healthcare and OASIS assessment experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop efficient workflows to organize and prioritize complex coding work for compliance with regulatory requirements
• Utilize coding classification systems to ensure accurate code selection and reflect appropriate codes during patient encounters
• Identify documentation gaps and initiate coding queries to clarify documentation for accurate code assignment

Required Qualifications

• Certification as HCS-D (Homecare Coding Specialist-Diagnosis) or HCS-O (Home Care Clinical Specialist-Oasis) is required
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in coding
• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Advanced knowledge in medical professional and outpatient facility coding
• Understanding of compliance regulations and guidelines related to coding
