Job Summary
A management and technology consulting firm is seeking a Remote Senior Combat Systems Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Solving complex challenges and shaping sea control and power projection
- Bringing in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of service or Joint missions, processes
- Applying knowledge of combat system end-user applications
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- BA or BS degree
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies and procedures
- Knowledge of upgrades and modernization efforts
- Experience in developing plans and processes to communicate with stakeholders at the shipboard and theater level
- Experience with operations, sensors, and weapons system integration onboard US Naval ships
- 10+ years of experience as a Combat Systems practitioner in both operations and practices onboard US Navy warships in deployed environments
