Job Summary
A software development firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Commercial and Marketing Counsel.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Structure and help negotiate business development deals with partners
- Review marketing programs and initiatives and advise on best practices
- Issue spot and provide practical advice to help the business make informed decisions about risk
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- 8+ years combined experience at a well-respected law firm or in-house legal department
- Admission to the California Bar or eligible to register as in-house counsel with the California Bar
- Significant experience drafting and negotiating complex deals
- Familiarity with US and international privacy principles
- Experience in advising marketing teams and reviewing marketing materials
