Job Summary
A software company is in need of a Remote Senior Commercial Counsel.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Independently negotiating all types of commercial agreements
- Leading the commercial contract function within the legal team
- Maintaining and improving existing contract templates
Qualifications for this position include:
- US licensed attorney in good standing
- At least 5 years of legal experience
- Experience drafting, redlining, and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial agreements
- Experience navigating privacy laws and security issues in a commercial contract negotiation context
- Excellent legal and business judgment with the ability both to assess relevant/material risks quickly
- Experience managing workload in a high-pressure environment with competing demands
