Job Summary
A space technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Communication Systems Engineer in Palo Alto.
Must be able to:
- Establish contractual compliance through on-ground and in-orbit spacecraft testing
- Lead a team of engineers to deliver communications payloads compatible with the host spacecraft
- Provide original solutions to complex technical problems
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mathematics, physics or STEM related field. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree
- 8+ years of RF related work experience (6 years with MS degree, 4 years with a Ph.D)
- Advanced understanding of mathematics and physics as they relate to electrical systems and components
