Job Summary

A social media company is in need of a Remote Senior Compute Security Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Mentoring and helping develop other members of the organization
  • Identifying the trade-offs necessary between security and engineering velocity
  • Using data to drive identification of risk areas and solutions

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Have built and operated container security infrastructure including scanning, signing, and lifecycle management
  • 3 or more years of experience running Kubernetes in production, including experience with admission controllers, pod security policies, and RBAC
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience (other jobs, grad school, etc) in information security
  • Experience with deploying, configuring, and patching container images at scale
  • Experience with operating AppArmour or seccomp, and understanding of cgroups and namespaces
  • Knowledge of at least one of: Go, Python, or Java
