Remote Senior Containerization and Kubernetes Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Containerization and Kubernetes Site Reliability Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Participating in managing systems and processes
• Managing Kubernetes cluster stability and deployment tooling
• Managing ecosystem security, and service integration support

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience with Linux/Unix, particularly service creation and automation
• Programming with at least one OOP language
• Scripting (Bash) skills
• Moderate experience with distributed systems
• Some experience with low-level Linux ecosystem (i.e., kernel, cgroups)
• Familiarity with self-managed container orchestration (Kubernetes)
