Job Summary
A woman-owned small business that helps federal agencies improve program and mission outcomes throughout the entire program life cycle has an open position for a Remote Senior Contracting Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Support a variety of pre-award, award, and post-award contract actions virtually
- Provide acquisition support services to the Forest Service (FS) Contracting Officer (or their designee)
- Perform acquisition planning, source selection, and requirements development
Required Skills:
- 10-20 years of federal acquisition experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing and analytical skills to effectively interact with program and contracting officials
- Have prior training in contracting, such as FAC-C and DAWIA (preferred but not required)
- Attention to detail and record-keeping, high standards of excellence and commitment to perform and execute all project activities successfully
