Job Summary
A transportation company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Controls Software Engineer in San Francisco.
Must be able to:
- Take algorithms from conception to implementation and deployment
- Analyze performance from simulation and real-world testing
- Work with Systems Engineers, Data Analysis and Test Engineers to evaluate the performance of features against requirements
Qualifications for this position include:
- MS plus 4+ years or PhD plus 2+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in Feedback Control (Theory, Analysis and Design Techniques)
- Knowledge of vehicle dynamics (modeling, simulation, validation)
- Experience working on real-time safety-critical systems
- Experience writing C++ in a production environment -- unit testing, code review, algorithm performance and tradeoffs, etc
- Practical familiarity with Data Structures and Algorithms
