A video game development firm is filling a position for a Remote Senior Core Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Optimizing game code and systems
  • Designing Snowdrop engine improvements and extensions
  • Implementing system-level and gameplay-supporting systems

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Experience building games as an engineer for PlayStation, Xbox, or PC
  • Experience with technical requirement certification
  • C/C++ experience with understanding of multi-threaded programming techniques
  • Experience on the new generation of consoles
  • Understanding of streaming file systems
  • Understanding of low-level optimizations and core subsystems, memory management, cross-platform development
