Job Summary

A software company has an open position for a Remote Senior Core Product Data Scientist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Deriving and communicating data-driven recommendations
• Designing and analyzing experiments to rigorously test specific hypotheses
• Being a mentor/advisor for other Data Scientists on the Analytics team

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
• Substantial experience with and understanding of A/B testing and advanced statistical techniques
• 4+ years of experience in data science or analytics
• Experienced with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau or Mode)
• Ability to develop a nuanced business understanding, testable hypotheses, and meaningful findings from data
• Proficient in Python or R
