Job Summary
A software and services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Cost Accountant.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Perform monthly close activities
- Complete quarterly internal and external audit schedules
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and analysis
Qualifications for this position include:
- BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting with 5+ years’ relevant experience in cost accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on accounting experience in a hardware manufacturing environment
- Good working knowledge of product costing and inventory management
- Working knowledge of SOX controls and documentation
- Ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
