A holding company for property-casualty insurance companies has a current position open for a Remote Senior Cyber Defense Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Acting as a subject matter expert to the enterprise
- Mentoring other IT security staff
- Performing assessments, and incident response/threat intelligence consultation
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 5 -7 years’ experience in Information Technology or Risk Management roles
- 4 years in a security role
- Knowledge of firewall theory and configuration
- Expert level knowledge of current security control technologies and procedures
- Knowledge of national and international regulatory compliances and frameworks
- Ability to understand and clearly explain general methods of information security
