Job Summary
An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Cyber Security Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Developing hardening standards for endpoints, servers, containers, operating systems
- Configuring and analyzing perimeter defense systems such as firewalls, VPNs, WAFs, IDS/IPS
- Reviewing security alerts and determining appropriate courses of action
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology
- 7 years of related security experience
- Experience in monitoring security events to identify malicious activity, then executing response processes
- Experience in assessing the security posture of third parties and vendors
- Experience using Mitre @ttack framework, Cloud Security Alliance and/or NIST cloud frameworks
