Job Summary
A staffing firm specializing in IT, engineering, and life sciences solutions is filling a position for a Remote Senior Data Analyst.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working within an agile environment, converting business expectations to user stories and acceptance criteria for sprint teams
- Using SQL to analyze source data, identify data quality issues and understand how the data matches business processes
- Develop and execute quality assurance and test scripts
Position Requirements Include:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical degree or equivalent experience
- 6-8+ years of experience analyzing complex source databases
- Advanced SQL skills, and hands-on experience with Hadoop, MapR, or Hive
- Experience working with agile teams
- Experience with Business Data Management (BDM) concepts
- Ability to articulate technical issues to be understandable by technical and non-technical stakeholders
