Job Summary

A professional services provider has a current position open for a Remote Senior Data Analytics Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Develop data pipelines, ingestion, engineering, and analytic application processes to business specification
  • Collaborate with project teams per solution architects, business, QA, and project management
  • Participate in testing of prototypes and validate test procedures to ensure that they are applicable to the design

Qualifications Include:

  • 5 or more years of high-tech industry and/or IT work experience in Big Data project
  • Being responsible for application support, bug fixes, and quality assurance
  • Performing root-cause analysis of complex issues
  • Experience with AWS ecosystem (EMR, EC2, S3) and Google Cloud Platforms
  • Strong experience in Python, Spark, PySpark, Data Analytics, SQL, Shell Script
  • Understanding of micro-services, web-based applications and REST APIs
