Job Summary
An insurance services provider is filling a position for a Remote Senior Data Analytics State Analyst.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Partnering directly with our State Managers to perform exploratory research, conduct AB tests, and build dashboards and reporting
- Scoping and leading exploratory research to quantify the impacts of new strategies
- Building advanced dashboards and reporting to monitor market performance
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3+ years of work experience in analytics
- Proven track record of success with ambiguous analytics projects
- Experience presenting complex technical information to senior-level stakeholders
- Experience applying statistical techniques to business problems: linear and logistic regression, decision trees, confidence intervals, p-values
- Experience writing and validating complex SQL queries
- Familiarity with a scripting language (e.g., Python or R)
