Job Summary
An information technology and engineering consulting services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Data Architect in Rockville.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Design, implement and maintain moderately complex databases
- Maintain database dictionaries, monitor standards and procedures and integrate systems through database design
- Work with massive amounts of data in a high availability environment
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering, or other comparable degree or experience
- Experience with large scale databases, leading database teams, including data migration, transformation and O&M
- Strong understanding and experience in AWS architecture (EC2, S3, Redshift)
- Understanding and experience in BI/Data Warehouses, Data Marts and Data Lakes
- Oracle, MSSQL, geospatial datasets and repositories
